Sunday brunch – American Beer Pancakes!


Prepping a Sunday brunch? Want a new spin on an old favourite? Try making American Beer Pancakes. Easy to make and ridiculously delicious!

– Makes 6 pancakes
1/3 dl coconut butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
2,5 dl flour
1/2 dl sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dl milk
2 dl Stout

1. In a large bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients
2. Pour in the egg, milk, beer and melted butter
3. Stir until blended – a few lumps are okay 🙂
4. Heat a pan over medium heat
5. Coat with coconut butter or vegetable oil
6. Spoon about 1/2 dl of pancake batter into the pan
7. When bubbles appear on top of the pancakes, flip and cook until brown
8. Serve with sliced fruit, maple suryp, and whipped cream
